Well, we did it! We fit 72 6th grade STEM students and 8 teachers into one room without having any casualties! The 6th grade feels like a TEAM and everyone is excited to be here. Students were split into groups of 5 today, given a role (Recorder, Facilitator, Time Keeper, Reporter, and Helper) within their group, then brainstormed what the 5 Bs Look Like, Feel Like, and Sound Like. The Recorder wrote their information on a portion of a shamrock and the Reporter reported back to all 72 students. Everyone did an amazing job! Soon you will be able to see a short clip of our group work on our home page. But for now here's a poster of the 5 Bs, and a picture of the shamrocks!
