Good Morning Everyone!

We have been very busy figuring out STEM schedules, new modules in ELA and Math, preparing for Open House, and helping our new 6th grade students adjust to Middle School.  The kids are very happy and proud to be a part of the STEM Team.  They have been working hard in small groups that we call Triads.  Everyone has been very positive and willing to lend a helping hand when needed.

Another Monday Morning Meeting is under our belts!  Yesterday our guest speaker was Mrs. Russell, our Middle School principal.  She talked to the students about her career and what it took for her to reach the position that she has now.  The students listened intently and asked some good questions.

After Mrs. Russell's presentation we discussed "The Bee Hive", (our Teacher Panel) with the kids and they had to work in their triads to create a form called a SIP (Student Intervention Plan) that we will use with them if they have to come in front of the panel.  The Teacher Panel is going to be used when a student is having difficulty with one of our 5 Bs.
