Where did September go? It's hard to believe that Fall is here and we are already at the 5 week marking period. As I listen to the students in the hallways and classrooms, I hear them say "It's already time to go?!". It's amazing how fast the day goes by when everyone is so engaged in the activities that we have planned for our STEM students.
This past Monday our presenters were from the radio station's Wild Country 96.5 and WICY 1490. A huge thank you to Matt Maneely and Pat Scheidegger! They did an amazing job introducing us to the world of radio.
Students have been campaigning this week for STEM office positions. Students that are interested in running for STEM president, vice president, secretary, and treasurer have been busy petitioning, making posters, and giving speeches over the PA system. This Friday we will have our election in Mr. Barkley's room.
We are also starting to gear up for the Fall Fest. Students will be doing presentations and giving demonstrations during the Fall Fest to better educate our students, staff, and community members about STEM. We will have 5 tables set up during the day on October 17th for everyone to come see what STEM is all about. We are all very excited to "show off" our STEM program!
